I owe my obsession of food to my Dad, he's a foodie in all ways. Not only does he love to eat, but he also loves to cook delicious meals. A lot of the time he makes the kitchen off limits to the rest of us, but sometimes I'm summoned into the kitchen to be his assistant.
Here's what I ate last week!
Chinese eggplant in a Thai yellow curry with coconut milk.
Grilled chicken with peanut sauce.
Who doesn't like to eat in the PJs? Pumpkin & lamb dumplings, to be dipped in a tempura sauce, rice vinegar, chive combo.

Black sticky rice (sweet), covered in condensed milk, with mango and crushed peanuts.

ReplyDeleteGo to Chinatown, buy some black sticky rice... I found mine in a little Vietnamese place.
Heat the black rice up a tiny bit in the microwave.
Put the sticky rice w/ the mango in a bowl and cover in condensed milk.
Peanuts as garnish are optional.
